School business development:
A flare of innovation is bought to the school via a business manager, a business mind holds a different concept to what the head teacher or teachers perceive a certain school to be. The whole school perspective is not side lined but rather, strategic thinking and strategies of marketing as well as income generation strategies consider the whole school perspective as the main part in defining strategies; for the school and for the betterment of the school/educational organisations.
School Improvement plans:
Future improvements in schools, requires the school leaders to adopt effective planning. Any school undergoing a section eight inspection would have realised the importance of, school leaders, being able to justify their decisions and the importance of focused plans for development and improvement.
Usually school improvement plans are carried out just before the start of the new academic year. In the UK this usually happens around late July and early September.
In addition to other criteria attendance and behaviour also needs to be considered during the analysis of outcomes.
The data analysis should ideally critique the statutory assessments, examinations and test results for all pupils and then focus on individual groups i.e. by set group or by year group.
Internal data of the school on the year groups and subjects needs to be analysed before the plan can be drawn up.
Using the assessment report of the school, the school leaders can then draw up plans for the next academic year.
Once the plan is implemented it can be monitored either mid academic year or on a termly basis.
